Booking and prices
How do I book a trek or expedition?
Send us an enquiry from any trip page, ourcontact page or WhatsApp on +92 355 5733499. We reply within 24 hours with a full itinerary and a quote. Once you confirm, we send you the booking details.
Can you run a private trip on my own dates?
Yes. Most of our trips can run on any date in season, for one person or a full group. Our fixed group dates are listed on the2027 Departures page.
How much does a trip cost?
The price depends on your group size, the length of the trip and the services you need. We quote every trip on request, so you always get the right price for your group.
Visas, permits and travel
Do I need a visa for Pakistan?
Most foreign visitors need a visa, and many nationalities can apply online through the official Pakistan e-visa system. If you need a letter of invitation for your application, we can help once your trip is confirmed.
Who arranges trekking and climbing permits?
We do. As a government licensed operator (DTS No. 2369), we arrange all the trekking and mountaineering permits and paperwork your trip needs.
Where do the trips start?
Most trips start and end in Islamabad. From there we travel to Skardu or Gilgit by flight or by road on the Karakoram Highway, and then by jeep to the trailhead.
Fitness and safety
How fit do I need to be?
It depends on the trip. Valley tours suit most people. Treks like K2 Base Camp need good fitness for many days of walking on rough glacier ground at high altitude. Peak climbs such as Laila Peak need previous experience with crampons, an ice axe and ropes. Tell us about your experience and we will suggest the right trip.
How do you deal with altitude?
Our itineraries climb slowly and include rest days to help your body adjust. Our guides are trained to spot the signs of altitude sickness early, and we carry a full first aid kit on every trip.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes. Please buy insurance that covers trekking or climbing up to the highest altitude of your trip, including helicopter rescue and medical evacuation.
On the trip
Who are your guides?
Our guides and porters come from the Hushe valley and Baltistan, home to some of the most experienced mountain people in Pakistan. Our founder, Rozi Ali, has guided climbers and trekkers in the Karakoram for more than 40 years.
What is included in the price?
Every trip page has a Services tab that lists what is included and what is not. If anything is unclear, just ask us before you book.
